FOUR OF EIGHT | Washed Out

June 9, 2010 at 10:20 am Leave a comment

Adult Swim’s project ‘Eight Singles in Eight Weeks’ has reached track number four. The project started with Matt Sweeney & Bonnie Prince Billy doing a sweet rendition of Gene Watson’s “Love in the Afternoon”. That was followed by Madvillain’s “Papermill” and Killer Mike’s “Swimming”, produced by Flying Lotus. Now Washed Out adds “You & I” with help from Chairlift’s Caroline Polachek. Listen to the track below. It’s a hazy, sexed-out piece of chill music — good for a hot summer days sitting out in the middle of the ocean on your board. — Words, art design David D. Robbins Jr.
