REJOICE | Secret Mountains

NEW EP: A Their Bated Breath favorite, Baltimore’s Secret Mountains released a new three-track EP called “Rejoice”. You can download the lead single, “Rejoice” at the band’s bandcamp page, or get the complete record, which includes songs, “Dead Sea” and “Rest Easy”. This band’s music is as difficult to pin down as mercury, sprawling in it’s majesty — balancing soaring guitar, and soundscapes with pretty vocal melodies. Surprisingly, the second track on the album, “Dead Sea”, even makes use of a banjo. And you must hear lead singer Kelly Laughlin. She’s a wonder to listen to.
