COVERVILLE: OMD (aka Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark) is loving this resurgence of old-school, 80s, synth-laden romantic, mope rock. It’s right up their alley. In fact, OMD have a cover version of the xx’s “VCR” on soundcloud. It’s a great the xx track to begin with, but OMD put their little breathy spin on it. It’s a pretty cover.
