Ultraísta | Bad Insect (Video)

Always nice to open the inbox and find a track like this. The trio, Ultraísta, posted a new video for their electronic track, “Bad Insect”. The song is from off the upcoming self-titled LP, due out October 1. The band is vocalist Laura Bettinson and multi-instrumentalist producers Nigel Godrich (Radiohead) and Joey Waronker. The video features the singer captured in a psychedelic trailing effect. The song features a driving, rhythmic pulse (not unlike Radiohead’s own “Lotus Flower”), scattered faint percussion, and the smooth vocal flow of Bettinson.
