It’s Warren Hildebrand’s (aka Foxes In Fiction) birthday, so he’s feeling pretty good. So good in fact, that he posted an alternate version of a song from his 2010 cassette release, “Swung from the Branches”. It’s a re-working of the blissed-out “Jimi Bleachball”. Here’s what Warren posted at his tumblr site: “It’s my birthday and I’m in a giving mood, so here’s a demo / alternate version of my song Jimi Bleachball. I usually play this version of the song song live and have had a recorded version sitting around for some time gathering dust, and even though the guitars kind of sound awful I hope you guys like it. (I also used my weird minimal techno song Static Cults as a backdrop for the entire track, it’s in the same key and everything) Recorded entirely using a digital 4-track.
