Here’s a gorgeous, ethereal track from Pressed And, called “Raid”. It’s a sensory overload, with atmospheric echoes and fluttery vocal pitch changes. It’s immersive and dreamy, delicate percussion, loops and textured sounds overlap and blend with  pretty glacial electronics. You can watch a video for the song in the vodpod list to the right of this blog or at vimeo. It was created by talented artist/designer Nathaniel Whitcomb of Think or Smile. “Raid” will appear on Pressed And’s limited-edition cassette “Imbue Up” out via Crash Symbols on November 4th. Pressed And is the collaboration of Mat Jones and Andrew Hamlet. You can purchase the tape at bandcamp, with more tracks to come. Grab a free copy of raid at a Crash Symbols tumblr blog post. Follow the duo on facebook. Tracklist for the cassette is: 1. Fire Shelf; 2. Etching; 3. Soul Muffin; 4. Blue Noun; 5. Parties; 6. Shoreditch; 7. Raid — David D. Robbins Jr.
