MASSIVE ATTACK | Demo

One half of the Massive Attack duo, Robert “3D” Del Naja posted a track on soundcloud simply labeled “3D & VERMONA DEMO”. Obviously, it sounds like a sinister Massive Attack track, and it’s good even in its suggested ‘demo’ state, opening with one of those run-on rapped Del Naja verses. My favorite is that line, “… Give the sun some shade / Slits played tricks like the Super-8 flicks we made …” I can’t speak for what this track is or why Del Naja posted it, other than for some quick fan feedback. But I first saw it posted on the Massive Attack facebook page, where you can follow them too. (BTW, Vermona is a type of German analog synthesizer, just in case you’re wondering.) — David D. Robbins Jr.

Guilt-Free Listening Zone

This is a guilt-free listening zone. We've built relationships with bands, artists, labels and PR firms to give you the best in new music. All songs on this site are sent to Their Bated Breath directly from the artists, their PR firms, their record labels, or are available via stream. Thanks so much to all of them. It's important to me that nothing posted here take away anything from the artists. Enjoy. -- David.
