Blusher’s icy cool soundscapes are electronic slow waltzes and meditations in loneliness and displacement. His latest record, released at the end of last year, “It Happened In My Memory”, is a cohesive ode to somber moods, romantic inclinations and haunting textures. The record contains just seven songs, but they’re moving in their sparseness. The vocals are buried and muted beneath slow and taut instrumentation, sounding like echoes of echoes. You can listen to the entire album at bandcamp or follow Blusher at tumblr. — David D. Robbins Jr.
