Patterns In Plastic | Weird Fishes/Arpeggi

Patterns In Plastic posted a cool re-working of Radiohead’s “In Rainbows” (2007) track “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi”. It’s a difficult and therefore interesting track for another band to try to re-imagine. (There are certainly more popular and easier songs to recast.) Their version is more scuffed up and muted, which gives the track a different sense of auditory depth. The drumming sounds are less crisp, and the echoed vocals blend even more into the instrumental. It makes the song a bit more lush and languid. Listen for yourself below.
