Cuushe | I Dreamt About Silence

July 3, 2012 at 5:32 am 5 comments

Three years after her debut record, “Red Rocket Telepathy”, Japanese dream-pop artist Cuushe is back with a new EP, “Girl you know that I am here but the dream” (July 16) — a set of three discs from Flau featuring her original work and remixes by artists Julia Holter, Teen Daze, Blackbird Blackbird, and others. Listen to the gorgeously lush and pulsing track, “I Dreamt About Silence”, with it’s floating vocals, and heavenly ascension. — David D. Robbins Jr.

Wow, never before heard of this artist but since it seems like her material is going to be right up my alley, I’m trying to find a copy of Red Rocket Telepathy but no luck. Any suggestions David?

Yeah — her sound is pretty. Red Rocket Telepathy. Well, she does go through Flau: http://www.flau.jp/releases/12.html (But as to its availability, I can’t be sure.) I used to have one, I think on a digipak CD.

Thanks David! I just ordered one from Flau. $22 includes shipping apparently. I found the page you linked me to, but couldn’t see any purchase or “add to cart” button so at first I thought I was looking at a review. But since you linked me to it, I went there again with a little more determination and managed to find the shop and find the item therein, and buy! Thanks again!!!!!πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

It’s here now, and I’m given it a first listen. Flau delivers quick, answers e-mails fast, cool!
