Nima just keeping putting out wonderful songs, primarily low-light affairs with obscured vocals, hushed tones, and gradations of sound that spread out like watercolors dripped onto a piece of parchment. What she’s doing is subtle, and detailed. It’s the kind of music the caresses the ears — whose beauty grows on you in an organic, tender kind of way. Her latest track, “3D”, was posted up on her bandcamp page and also has a video that features a dancer, in slow-motion, bathed in high-color saturation. Nima creates songs for the patient listener who appreciates moody and textured musical architecture. You can follow her at facebook and on soundcloud. — David D. Robbins Jr.
