CRIM3S | Lost (Video)

Currently unsigned group, CRIM3S, posted a new video for the song, “Lost”, another track to add to their long list of sinister, creepy sounding adventures into dark atmospheric dub and electronics. The song sounds like part exorcism, part warped seance. The track reminds me of the paradoxical mix I heard in Wise Blood’s “Loud Mouths”, where you mix shadowy and disturbing sounds with undeniable flow. There’s something alluring about it all, with it’s inventive distorted screams, like some kind of back-masking, serving as odd melody over the top of echoed noises, deep bass beats and catchy rhythms. You can follow CRIM3S on facebook. The band is listed as a duo, Sadie and Isaac. — David D. Robbins Jr.
