Serengeti | Wedding

“Wedding” is a smooth new track from Graveface Records’ artist Serengeti, from Chicago. The song is from the artist’s forthcoming album, “Saal”, out Feb 12th. “Saal” is produced by Sicker Man. I love that “Wedding” seems to hinge on holding back. It’s a slow building song that doesn’t come to a false crescendo, or some tricky method-to-the-madness flailing of instruments. It’s more subtle than that, with its steady metronomic beat, soft vocals, jabbering crowd faintly heard in the background, and it’s constant rhythmic bass beat. — David D. Robbins Jr.
