Cool Ghouls | Grace

San Francisco four-piece band Cool Ghouls posted a track, “Grace”, to stream from off their forthcoming self-titled 10-track debut LP, out via Empty Cellar Records. They don’t want to be seen as a retro band based on some of their sound, but it’s easy to hear where that might come from. “Grace” utilizes an old 50s-waltzing rhythm underneath lead vocals that range from soulful to screaming. You’ll hear jangly guitar, accenting drumming, brass, and full-throated choruses. There are hints of everything from The Animals to WULYF.
