“Away” is a lovely new ultra-delicate lounge track from Paris’ Julia Losfelt. The song plays with overlapping vocals, humming synth, light percussion, and elegantly repeated phrases. It’s a simple, and yet gorgeously sensual piece of music. It’s transporting, and feels as contemplative as a sunny day spent watching slow cloud cover. Losfelt’s latest single follows behind a wild cover of Brian Eno’s “By This River” (off 1977’s “Before and After Science), a version she did with music producer Andrea.
