Stolen Violin | Short Cuts To True Love

“Short Cuts To True Love” is a beautiful new track from Stolen Violin. It’s a single off the upcoming debut solo album, “Temperate Touch Tropical Tears”, from Jordan Ireland of the now-defunct Australian band The Middle East. The song begins with a couple of levels of gritty feedback, the gradual tones expanding into a ground swell of distortion, scuzzed-up guitar, and pretty buried vocals. It’s a gorgeous blending of rough edges, jeweled tones, love and disintegration — with all too fitting album-cover art. I love the sound of this track, and it should make fans really want to get their hands on this release. You can pre-order the new record at Spunk Records Store. — David D. Robbins Jr.
