Neon Cloud | Scar EP

Tokyo label Flau Records posted NEON CLOUD’s track, “22″, earlier this year, but now we’ve got the full four-song “Scar” EP to listen to, the same number of songs off the first record, the 2011 EP  “Knit”. I named “Knit” as one of the “Best EPs of 2011″ here at Their Bated Breath. And just like the first EP, the second consists of songs with odd names, the sequential plus-one, “1”, “22”, “333”, and a fourth cut called 1 (Irrelevant Mix). These are beautiful soundscapes of glitches, electronics, cool vocals, that stretch themselves out as vast as the plains. You can hear the songs at the label bandcamp page. — David D. Robbins Jr.
