Tirzah posted a new video for her track, “Malfunction”, taken from the upcoming April 21st EP release, “No Romance”, out via Greco-Roman. This down-tempo, half-spoken bit of electronic soul is a pretty, playful teaser circling around the repeated one-line chorus, “Things you say for love …” And it sounds as if the second voice heard on the track is Tirzah friend, Micachu, who produced her previous EP, “I’m Not Dancing”. The latter song is carried over onto the new EP, leading off the record, before getting into four new tracks. The video is uncredited. It’s a hand-held, rough clip of Tirzah hanging out, most likely with Micachu whose voice can be heard off-camera, normally and with pitch-altering. You can follow Tirzah at facebook, and preo-order the new EP via itunes. Note: All lyrics unofficial. — David D. Robbins Jr.
