Who doesn’t understand the soul-crushing feeling of regret? The Gold-Bears’ promo copy for the Atlanta band’s second full-length, “Dalliance”, describes the record as a series of regrettable incidents, like lying to a friend, the terrible thing you say to someone before thinking it out. The first single, “For You”, certainly fit into the category, but the music is propulsive, immediate and anthemic: “And I wrote the truth / You read it one last time / And I have the proof / For the rest of our goddamned lives.” You can follow Gold-Bears at facebook and bandcamp.
