Gold-Bears | For You

Who doesn’t understand the soul-crushing feeling of regret? The Gold-Bears’ promo copy for the Atlanta band’s second full-length, “Dalliance”, describes the record as a series of regrettable incidents, like lying to a friend, the terrible thing you say to someone before thinking it out. The first single, “For You”, certainly fit into the category, but the music is propulsive, immediate and anthemic: “And I wrote the truth / You read it one last time / And I have the proof / For the rest of our goddamned lives.” You can follow Gold-Bears at facebook and bandcamp. Note: All lyrics are unofficial. You can get the album via Slumberland Records. It’s out on June 3rd.  — David D. Robbins Jr.

Guilt-Free Listening Zone

This is a guilt-free listening zone. We've built relationships with bands, artists, labels and PR firms to give you the best in new music. All songs on this site are sent to Their Bated Breath directly from the artists, their PR firms, their record labels, or are available via stream. Thanks so much to all of them. It's important to me that nothing posted here take away anything from the artists. Enjoy. -- David.
