Bob Dylan certainly contains many multitudes. The caustic Dylan, heard in his most recent album “Tempest”, in majestic songs like “Tin Angel” and “Pay In Blood”, gives way to the softness of a cover of the love ballad, “Full Moon and Empty Arms” (written by Buddy Kaye and Ted Mossman), best associated with the likes of Frank Sinatra and the inimitable Sarah Vaughan. It’s the first single from a release expected later this year. You can hear the low-key cover at Dylan’s official website. — David D. Robbins Jr.
