Everyone needs more Lilacs & Champagne (aka Emil Amos, Alex Hall, Jay Clarke and Zachary Reno) in their lives. Really underrated band that mixes equal parts psychedelica, dark urges and deterioration. But this time around, they’ve released a new single that blends more chill, dub beats, 70s R&B and hip-hop into their style — and it works. It’s an instrumental, which is the mode L&C likes to work in, and there are female vocal samples repeating the phrase of which the song takes its name. This song is meant to be a part of “Midnight Features Vol. 2: Made Flesh” out March 17th via Temporary Residence Ltd. The album art above seems to feature the L&C vision of painter like Paul Gauguin, renowned for exotic idylls of Tahitian women and Polynesian landscapes.
