Skeleton Hands is a self-described dark-wave duo from Cincinnati, Ohio — and they make music to make the bones dance and rattle. Their two-track EP, “Crystalline Dreams” (available at the group’s bandcamp page), features foreboding and sorrowful vocals with an upbeat 80s-synth aesthetic. The album opener, “City Lights”, begins with a jumping beat and skittering synth — like goth-goes-dancing. It’s atmosphere is colorful and stylishly romantic. The band consists of singer Lazar-Bat (aka Evan Scott Sharfe) who also works the bass, synth, beats, and programming. The group also includes Astro-Wolf (aka Chase Anderson) on guitar and programming. — David D. Robbins Jr.
