Laetitia Sadier | Find Me the Pulse of the Universe

Singer-songwriter Laetitia Sadier will be releasing her sophomore solo album, “Silencio”, on July 24th on Drag City. Before that, she’s sharing a new song, “Find Me the Pulse of the Universe”, which has that frenetic feel fans will remember with Stereolab. But in truth, this is really her own new sound, which like the album title may suggest, is driven with Latin rhythms, bossa nova percussive underpinnings, and beautifully flowing vocal phrasing. It’s like Sadier found her inner-David Byrne, and it rests in music creation that continues to try and find styles, and innovative ways of expression. ”Find Me the Pulse of the Universe” is a stunning introduction that should get everyone pumped to hear the new album. “Silencio” follows up Sadier’s 2010 solo debut ‘The Trip”. – David D. Robbins Jr.
